What We Do

We supply technical and operations expertise to install process and packaging lines, or to "fix" existing lines, primarily in consumer goods manufacturing plants. FGE is able to use a network of experienced talent on an as-needed basis to execute client assignments...client projects...and at a cost that YOU, our client, can afford.

Who We Are

FGE is directed by Jim Pfister, who is also the company's president.

Mr. Pfister is degreed in Engineering, with experience in processing/packaging/material handling engineering, project management, business development, and technical training primarily within food, packaging, and consumer goods industries.  He has managed both large and small concurrent, multi-disciplinary, multi-location projects, both domestically and internationally.

An author, speaker, and expert witness, Mr. Pfister is also a Past Chair of the Packaging Consultants Council, an IoPP local chapter past president, and participated in the IoPP's Packaging Equipment Performance Committee and Sustainable Packaging Committee. Jim belongs to the NJ Packaging Executives Club, and is a board member for Enter the Outdoors.

Jim also regularly contributes expertise to sites such as AllExperts.com, and participates in dozens of Linked IN technical groups, on such topics from packaging technology to manufacturing operational excellence.
